Cycle with Bears - Summer / Autumn 2008
An expedition through the last wilderness on earth: North-east Siberia and the Kamchatka Peninsula 
The route: starting in Irkutsk on the south west bank of Lake Baikal., and ending in Petropavlosvsk on the southern tip of Kamchatka.
Start:
3. of July 2008. The expedition is estimated to last three months.
Five expedition members: three cyclists, one photographer, one translator. 
Why do this?
Curiosity and a genuine lust for adventure are the key elements for going on a trip like this. It has never been done before. We want to test our abilities and inner strength, and to see if it is possible. There is also a deep burning wish to experience the last, vast wilderness on the planet, and to tell the rest of the world about it afterwards. There is really no other good reason…
